OLMSTED, Ill. -- Charles Grant Britt, 60, of Bardwell, Kentucky, formerly of Olmsted, passed away at 5:49 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Charles was born Oct. 16, 1955, to the late Grant Charles Britt and Bertha Britt.
Charles was a graduate of Shawnee College; studied music at SIU; a graduate of American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York; was a performer, musician, entrepreneur and faithful follower of Christ; and he was a beloved brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his sisters, Donna Britt Keistler of Lakewood, Colorado, and Dorothy Britt Dennis (Rodney) of Cairo, Illinois; nephews, Tom Mitchell of Paducah and David Holt and Audie Kinslow of Paducah; nieces, Karen Kinslow Alphonse and Krystal Keistler Hawley of Lakewood; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
You left us with your love in our hearts and many stories to tell.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Britt Ozment, and father, Grant Charles Britt.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m Monday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Illinois.
The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Dr. Larry L. Potts officiating. Interment will be in Cache Chapel Cemetery east of Ullin, Illinois.
