SIKESTON -- Graveside service for Charles Hampton Sr. of Sikeston will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Garden of Memories Cemetery, with the Rev. Jim Faughns officiating.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
Hampton, 61, died Saturday, June 4, 1994, in Lubbock, Texas.
He was born Jan. 16, 1933, in Caruthersville, son of David and Mary Hamlett Hampton. He and Betsy Clayton were married Feb. 13, 1955.
Hampton was a self-employed truck driver.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles Hampton Jr. of Sikeston, Jimmy Hampton of Dexter; two daughters, Debbie Davis of Bloomfield, Dorothy Bom of Sikeston; three brothers, George Hampton of Dexter, Joe Hampton of Dudley, Bob Hampton of Sikeston; four sisters, Helen Naile of Bertrand, Betty McCullough of Sikeston, Pauline Lindsey of West Memphis, Ark., Mildred Aaron of Anderson, Ind.; nine grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
