Funeral mass for Charles L. Scheeter, 216 Hillview, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Cathedral. Msgr. Richard Rolwing will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Scheeter, 84, died Monday, Sept. 4, 1995, at the Lutheran Home.

He was born March 21, 1911, at Kelso, son of William and Gertrude Webber Scheeter. He married the former Mary Stone.

Scheeter was employed by Missouri Utilities, retiring in 1976 as superintendent of the transportation department. He was a member and volunteer with St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliary.

Survivors include his wife; a son, David Scheeter of San Anselmo, Calif.; a granddaughter, and a stepgrandson.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
