Bowers, 46, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, at the home of her mother, following a brief illness.

She was born Dec. 24, 1955, at Dexter, daughter of Johnnie M. and Virginia Louise Buckley Bowers.

Survivors include three sons, Billy Dickson of Oklahoma City, Okla., Ed and Robert Williams of East Prairie; her mother of East Prairie; two brothers, Jim Bowers of Sikeston, Mo., Glen Bowers of Gosnell, Ark.; three sisters, Janet Steere of Malden, Mo., Carol Jones and Melissa Winchester of East Prairie; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by two sons.
