DEXTER, Mo. -- Cindy Blackwell, 42, of Dexter died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, in an automobile accident near Newport, Ark.

She was born Oct. 7, 1957, in Riverside, Calif., daughter of Elmer and Clara King Sanders Jr.

Blackwell moved to Dexter eight years ago from Palacios, Texas.

Survivors include a son, Eddie Blackwell III of Dexter; three daughters, Christal Fouts of Rolla, Mo., Frosty Santos and Rena Blackwell of Dexter; her father of Essex, Mo.; two sisters, Dorthia Springer and Kathy Dean of Dexter; four brothers, Billy Sanders of Bloomfield, Mo., Steve Sanders of Essex, Adam and Delbert Sanders of Dexter; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating. Burial will be in Essex Cemetery at Essex.
