JACKSON -- Clara Aimee Crook, 92, of Jackson, died Tuesday, May 4, 1999, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 6, 1906, in Hawkeye, Iowa, daughter of Henry and Clara Henderson Foote. Crook moved to Jackson in 1994 from Springfield. She worked 15 years at Trenton Livestock Sale Barn, a family business in Trenton. She had been active in the Chrysanthemum Garden Club and Order of Eastern Star in Springfield...

JACKSON -- Clara Aimee Crook, 92, of Jackson, died Tuesday, May 4, 1999, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home.

She was born Sept. 6, 1906, in Hawkeye, Iowa, daughter of Henry and Clara Henderson Foote.

Crook moved to Jackson in 1994 from Springfield. She worked 15 years at Trenton Livestock Sale Barn, a family business in Trenton. She had been active in the Chrysanthemum Garden Club and Order of Eastern Star in Springfield.

Survivors include a son, James Hochberger of Jackson; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, four sisters, and two brothers.

A private memorial service will be held.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
