CLARA DODD

OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Clara Jane Dodd, 93, of Olive Branch died Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo, Ill.

She was born Oct. 26, 1906, in Diswood, Ill., daughter of George and Edy Abbott Tudor. She married John Dodd, who died in 1972.

Survivors include two daughters, Pat Williams of Cairo, Helen Palmer of Chicago; three sons, Phillip Dodd Sr. of Olive Branch, John Dodd Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Bobby Dodd of Severna Park, Md.; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two grandsons.

Private visitation and funeral will be Saturday at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo. The Rev. Kelly Cox will officiate. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
