ADVANCE -- Clara M. Ford, 73, of Advance died Thursday, Dec. 19, 1996, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born June 1, 1923, at Chaffee, daughter of Earl and Pearl McKnight Green. She and Bob Ford were married Sept. 25, 1939, at Jackson.

Ford was a member of Friendship Baptist Church at Dongola.

Survivors include two sons, Larry and Bobby Ford of Advance; a daughter, Barbara Coffee of Advance; two brothers, Earl Green of Clarksville, Ark., George Green of Advance; two sisters, Velma Miller of Chaffee, LaVaughn Medley of Delta; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brad Moore officiating. Burial will be in Dongola Cemetery near Advance.
