JACKSON -- Clara M. Marshall, 76, of Jackson, died Monday, Aug. 24, 1992 at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born March 27, 1916 at Walla Walla, Wash., the daughter of Orin and Ellen Noblett Bates. She married William Shepard on May 5, 1934 in Odgen, Utah. He preceded her in death in March, 1959. She married Bertis Marshall on Feb. 14, 1963. He preceded her in death Nov. 13, 1986...

JACKSON -- Clara M. Marshall, 76, of Jackson, died Monday, Aug. 24, 1992 at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born March 27, 1916 at Walla Walla, Wash., the daughter of Orin and Ellen Noblett Bates.

She married William Shepard on May 5, 1934 in Odgen, Utah. He preceded her in death in March, 1959. She married Bertis Marshall on Feb. 14, 1963. He preceded her in death Nov. 13, 1986.

Survivors are two sons, Charles Shepard of Jackson and Clifton Shepard of Redwood Valley, Calif.; one daughter, Patsy Hinton of Chaffee; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, seven sisters and one grandchild.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date, and burial will be at the Laytonville, Calif. Cemetery.
