ZALMA -- Clarence Henry Umfleet, 82, of Sacramento, Calif., died Tuesday, July 13, 1993, in Sacramento. He was born April 24, 1911, at Zalma, son of John and Ruel Wilson Umfleet. He and Addie Croy were married in 1933. Umfleet worked for a dairy company in Pevely and St. Louis, moving to Sacramento in 1956. He worked at Crystal Dairy Co. there, retiring in 1976...

ZALMA -- Clarence Henry Umfleet, 82, of Sacramento, Calif., died Tuesday, July 13, 1993, in Sacramento.

He was born April 24, 1911, at Zalma, son of John and Ruel Wilson Umfleet. He and Addie Croy were married in 1933.

Umfleet worked for a dairy company in Pevely and St. Louis, moving to Sacramento in 1956. He worked at Crystal Dairy Co. there, retiring in 1976.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Ada Wright and Carol Umfleet of Sacramento; a brother, Homer Umfleet of St. Louis; a sister, Maxine Sinas of St. Louis, and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by two sons, a brother and sister.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Arvil Huffman will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. today.
