GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Clay Allen Broshuis, 34, of Glenallen died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Hiram, Mo.
He was born April 30, 1976, in Cape Girardeau, son of Steve and Nelda Watkins Broshuis.
Broshuis attended Woodland schools. He formerly worked at Farmington Correctional Facility in Farmington, Mo., and during the past year worked with Robinson Construction in Perryville, Mo.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Steve and Diane Broshuis of Marble Hill, Mo.; mother and stepfather, Nelda and Larry Cook of Fruitland; a sister, Sue Ellen Broshuis, and a brother, Eric Broshuis, both of Marble Hill; paternal grandmother and stepgrandfather, Virginia and James Marshall of Grassy, Mo.; a niece, Kiya Atteberry; five stepbrothers, James, Jason and Codey Cook, Darrel and Dewayne Caudle.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bobby Robbins officiating. Burial will be in McGee Cemetery near Glenallen.
