McCLURE, Ill. -- Cloyd "Rid" Mainer, 81, of Columbia, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, in Red Bud.

He was born Nov. 26, 1917, at McClure, son of George and Lucy Olive Rader Mainer. He first married Hazel Yarborough, who preceded him in death. He later married Wanda Kinney, who also preceded him in death

Mainer was a member of First Baptist Church in Anna, Masonic Lodge 111 in Jonesboro, and VFW Post in McClure.

Survivors include two sisters, Hazel Hileman of Waterloo, and Maude Smith of Columbia.

He was preceded in death by five brothers.

Friends may call at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo from 4-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Kevin Kerr officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at Lindsey Cemetery.
