MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Clyde L. Hinman, 48, of Mound City died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, in Mound City.
He was born July 6, 1955, in Mound City, son of the Rev. John R. and Bertha Walls Hinman.
Hinman was employed by the city of Mound City. He served as a fireman with Mound City Fire and Rescue Department many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a 4-H leader.
He served in the Illinois Army National Guard.
Survivors include a son, J.D.; two sisters, Kathy Wilburn of Barlow, Ky., Barbara Stone of Lowell, Ind.; three brothers, John Hinman of Walls, Miss., Roy Hinman of Newbern, Tenn., and Tommy Hinman of Nova Scotia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at First Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Travis Rose Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Olmsted, Ill.
