DUDLEY -- Clyde Forest Tuley, 89, of Dudley, died Friday, Aug. 9, 1996, at the Dexter Nursing Center.
He was born Aug. 16, 1906, in Dudley, son of James Y. and Emma Jane White Tuley. He married Nina Lee Chase June 17, 1933. She died June 28, 1974.
Tuley was a lifelong resident of Dudley and a retired lathe-setter at IXL Handle Co. at Dexter and Bernie. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by one son, John Allison Tuley of Dudley; two daughters: Iris Ann Overbey of Poplar Bluff and Ellen Gail Alsup of Wappapello; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral Service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Watkins and Sons with Rev. T.R. "Bud" Meadows of Dudley officiating.
Burial will be in the Dudley Cemetery.
