Corona Gosche Feuerhahn, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, in Austin, Texas.
She was born Nov. 14, 1913, in Oran, daughter of Tony and Ida Dannenmueller Gosche. She and Herman Paul Feuerhahn were married Sept. 12, 1942, in Oran.
Corona was a longtime resident of Hudson, Ohio, living in Ohio 55 years. While living in Hudson she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Hudson Women's Club. She enjoyed sewing, bridge, gardening and traveling.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Nina Heath of Austin; a granddaughter, Ashley Heath of Austin; two sisters, Nora Pobst of Chaffee, Wilma Metz of Oran; a godchild; and 15 nieces and nephews.
Corona was preceded in death by a son, Myron Gosche Feuerhahn of Columbus, Ohio, in 1978; three brothers, John Gosche, Zeno Gosche and Harold Gosche of Oran; two sisters, Irmina Pobst, and an infant sister, Leona Gosche, both of Oran.
A memorial Mass celebrating Corona's life will be held at 10 a.m. March 4, 2000, at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran. The Rev. Lewis Hejna will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The Mass will be preceded by the parish rosary at 9:40 a.m.
There will be no funeral home visitation.
Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Austin is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Louis Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 9374 Olive Boulevard, St. Louis, Mo., 63132. Donations may also be sent to Guardian Angel School Library, 514 Church Street, Oran, Mo., 63771, in memory of Corona Gosche Feuerhahn.
