SCOTT CITY -- Curtis L. Thorn, 55, of Scott City died Friday, May 15, 1992 at his home. He was born Sept. 6, 1936 in Troy, Mo., the son of Delbert and Jewel Niswonger Thorn. SCOTT CITY -- Curtis L. Thorn, 55, of Scott City died Friday, May 15, 1992 at his home.
He was born Sept. 6, 1936 in Troy, Mo., the son of Delbert and Jewel Niswonger Thorn.
He is survived by one son, Curtis Thorn, one brother, Melvin Thorn, and one sister, Lucille Cutright, all of Cape Girardeau; and one grandson.

One son preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Baptist church and lived most of his life in Southeast Missouri.
Graveside funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson with the Rev. S.S. Borum officiating.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
