Cynthia Renee Bowles, 53, of Danville, Ill., passed away Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Ill.

She was born Sept. 16, 1956, in Dunklin County, Mo., to Ava Glen and Evelyn McBroom Hopwood. She and Philip "Mike" Bowles were married Oct. 11, 2001, in Salem, Ill.

Bowles is survived by her loving husband of almost nine years, Mike of Danville; four children, Alicia (Eric) Zeikle of Cameron, Mo., Timothy (Sabrina) Owens of Covington, Ind., Jennifer King of Greensburg, Ind., Crystal Bowles of Newman, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Allison, Ashley and Zeke Zeikle, Bryson, Jayme, Hayden and Andrew Owens, Wesley and Lianna King; two sisters, Glenda (Terry) Mallet of Malden, Mo., Lori (Ron) Wroblewski of Ocean Springs, Mich.; and former husband, David Owens of Hamilton, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Evelyn and Carl Rollins, and her father, Ava Glen Hopwood.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Fruitland.
