POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Cynthia Kaye Pender-Cochran, 49 of Poplar Bluff passed away unexpectedly Feb. 26, 2021, breaking hundreds of hearts.

Cindy was born Dec. 13, 1971, in Cape Girardeau to James and Sharon Pender. Cindy was always a character, quick with a one-liner and always having a good time. As a Mother, Grandmother, family member, friend, or coworker Cindy always made life fun. She crammed a lot into those wild 49 years. She will be missed forever by all who knew her. she was truly one of a kind.

Cindy and Ronnie Cochran were married 2013 in Cape Girardeau. He survives of the home. She was his world.

She is also survived by her three daughters who through it all, meant the world to her, Lindsey (Jimmy) Reed, Lorey Pender, Alaina Gockel Pender. Cindy had seven grandchildren, all who loved their Maw Maw very much, Jeremy, Katelyn, Kenzie, Adalynn, Alexus, Jaxon and Luke; brothers Tim (Gloria) Pender, Jamie (Sharon) Pender, Adam Francis and then there is her stepfather ,Dale Brown, who raised her as his own. They had a very special bond and were incredibly close.

She is also survived by close friends, Becky Luebbers-Sullivan, Rachel Aufdenberg, Crystal Corley and countless other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, father, grandparents and brother, Samuel Francis.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home on Sprigg Street in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Sprigg Street Chapel.
