ADVANCE -- Dale Summers, 42, of Advance, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 1995, at his home. He was born March 30, 1953, at White Oak, son of Avery Summers and Eula Peters Farris. ADVANCE -- Dale Summers, 42, of Advance, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 1995, at his home.

He was born March 30, 1953, at White Oak, son of Avery Summers and Eula Peters Farris.

He was employed by United FIber Glass Co. in Advance.

Survivors include a son, Michael Summers of Advance; four brothers, Arlen Summers of Campbell, Stanley Summers of Gipsy, Jerry Summers and Thomas Farris, both of Zalma; and two sisters, Janice Summers and Jeanie Farris, both of Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Leon Corzine will officiate, with burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Zalma.
