Dale Edward Underwood, 63, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born Jan. 15, 1957, in Cape Girardeau to Henry Raymond and Minnie Bell Mungle Underwood. He and Pamela D. Rhymer were married Oct. 24, 1981, in Cape Girardeau.
He was a line worker at Florsheim Shoe Co. for 25 years. He then worked in property maintenance at Drury Southwest from December 1995 to April 2020.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Underwood of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Adrienne Dee Underwood of Cape Girardeau; son, Travis Dale Underwood of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Wanda (Lee) Leimer and Alice Rendleman, both of Cape Girardeau; and brothers, Elvis Underwood of Cape Girardeau, Wayne Underwood of Perryville, Missouri, Earl Bartels of Cape Girardeau and Milford (Shearon) Underwood of Searcy, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lillie, Verna, Mildred and Lucille; and brothers, Ivan and Bob.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
