MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Danny Roy McKaskle, 66, of Marble Hill passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Claru Deville Nursing Center in Fredericktown, Mo.
He was born Dec. 28, 1945, in Kennett, Mo., son of Johnce and Hazel O. Locke McKaskle. He and Patsy Godfrey were married June 14, 1968.
Danny was a technician with Bell Telephone, a member of New Bethel Church, and attended Marble Hill United Methodist Church.
He served in the Army National Guard and the Naval Reserve Seabees.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy McKaskle of Marble Hill; a son, Jason McKaskle of Fruitland; a daughter, Amy (Daniel) Eagan of Holts Summit, Mo.; a brother, Tommy McKaskle of Marble Hill; four grandchildren, Noah McKaskle, Caroline McKaskle, Tyler Eagan and Olivia Eagan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jeff Lohrstorfer and Janet Hopkins officiating. Inurnment will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery, with military honors provided by Missouri Honors Team.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in Cape Girardeau.
