BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Danny Shipley, Bloomfield Route 3, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Danny Marshall will officiate, with burial in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.

Shipley, 45, died Wednesday, July 13, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 29, 1949, at Schlatitz, son of Omar and Edith Crum Shipley. He and Karen Robey were married April 29, 1989, at Bloomfield.

Shipley was a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Omar Shipley of Marble Hill; a daughter, Miranda Shipley of Marble Hill; a stepson, Brian Williams of Bloomfield; his father and stepmother, Omar and Fleda Shipley of Zalma; two brothers, Jim Shipley of Sturdivant, Omar Shipley Jr. of Mississippi, and a sister, Linda Tipton of Marble Hill.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
