SIKESTON -- David Franklin Jones, 92, of Sikeston died Friday, Oct. 25, 1996, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center. He was born Jan. 9, 1904, in Corinth, Miss., to Jim and Della Jones. He was born Jan. 9, 1904, in Corinth, Miss., to Jim and Della Jones. He was a retired electrician and had lived in Sikeston since 1932.
He married Lillian Young on Dec. 11, 1932. She died Nov. 19, 1994.

He is survived by three sons, Franklin Jones of Chicago and Willie and Jerry Jones, both of Sikeston; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and four sons.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the St. John Baptist Church, with the Rev. Sylvester Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
