PUXICO, Mo. -- David W. Stevens, 77, of Puxico and formerly of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at his home. He was born Feb. 21, 1926, in Gideon, Mo. He married Doris Gloth. She survives. He was employed by Sears. He also is survived by a son, Gary Stevens of Puxico; a sister, Patty Gladney of Troy, Mo.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild...

PUXICO, Mo. -- David W. Stevens, 77, of Puxico and formerly of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at his home.

He was born Feb. 21, 1926, in Gideon, Mo. He married Doris Gloth. She survives.

He was employed by Sears.

He also is survived by a son, Gary Stevens of Puxico; a sister, Patty Gladney of Troy, Mo.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Morgan Sifford Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Adams officiating.

Burial will be at Passover Cemetery in Whitewater, Mo.
