Delmar R. Smith, 81, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Sept. 28, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was born Aug. 21, 1917, in Arkansas, the son of Clarence and Ethel Smith. Smith was a farmer. He was a member of First Christian Church at Cape Girardeau and the I.O.O.F. No. 385 at Lutesville, and at I.O.O.F. No. 67 at Cape Giardeau...

Delmar R. Smith, 81, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Sept. 28, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 21, 1917, in Arkansas, the son of Clarence and Ethel Smith.

Smith was a farmer. He was a member of First Christian Church at Cape Girardeau and the I.O.O.F. No. 385 at Lutesville, and at I.O.O.F. No. 67 at Cape Giardeau.

He is survived by several cousins.

Visitation will be at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel Wednesday from 10 a.m. to service time.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Randall Morse officiating. Burial will be in Cape Girardeau County Memorial Park.
