SIKESTON -- Theta "Delphia" Goetz, 78, of LaPlace, La., formerly of Sikeston, died Friday, Feb. 10, 1995, at her residence in LaPlace.

She was born July 8, 1916, in Aquilla, Mo., daughter of William Thomas and Janie Elizabeth Scharder Pry.

She married Francis "Frank" Goetz Nov. 24, 1934, in Benton. He died Nov. 25, 1991.

Survivors include five sons, Francis Goetz and Louis Goetz, both of Sikeston, Jerry Goetz of Fontana, Calif., Johnny Goetz of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Terry Goetz of McDonough, Ga.; a brother, Prentice Pry of Bloomfield; 13 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston with the Rev. Leonard Connor of Atlanta, Ga. officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Billie Butler and Bill McSherry of LaPlace, La. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
