MARBLE HILL -- Delphia Myers Baker, 93, of Marble Hill died Friday, Aug. 2, 1996, at the Heartland Care and Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 21, 1902, at Hahn, daughter of Hiram and Susan J. Mouser Gaines. She and Oscar L. Myers were married Nov. 27, 1928. He died May 6, 1961. She later married Noah E. Baker. He died Feb. 16, 1973.

Baker was a member of the Union Hill General Baptist Church near Hahn.

Survivors include a son, Lenzie Myers of Zalma; a daughter, the Rev. Ethel Myers of Marble Hill; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters and a grandson.

Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Ethel Myers and Robert Myers officiating. Burial will be in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
