Dewey Ada LaCroix, 98, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, March 9, 1997, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Services.
She was born April 17, 1898, in Advance, daughter of Henry L. and Elmina Williams Davis. She and William O. LaCroix were married Aug. 17, 1917, in Advance. He died March 15, 1968.
LaCroix lived in Cape Girardeau most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.
Survivors include two sons, James LaCroix of French Village, Paul LaCroix of Cherokee Village, Ark.; two daughters, Juanita Masterson of Cape Girardeau, Lillian Carroll of Largo, Fla.; 38 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, a daughter, a grandson, and two great-grandsons.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randolph Tochtrop officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
