MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Funeral for Dolphie L. "Lee" Fisher Jr. of Foley, Mo., was held Sept. 27, 2002, at Fairmount General Baptist Church in St. Peters, Mo. The Revs. Johnny Gipson and Roy Stanfill officiated. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Buchholz Mid Rivers Mortuary in St. Peters was in charge of arrangements.
Fisher, 55, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2002, at his home.
He was born June 16, 1947, near Sank, Mo., son of Dolphie L. and Alda Myers Fisher Sr. He and Mary Ann Lacy were married June 23, 1973, at St. Peters.
Fisher was employed at McDonnell Douglas 30 years, retiring in 1996. He had lived in St. Louis County since 1957.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lisa Schaefer and Amy Sanders; his mother of Marble Hill; a brother, Joe Fisher of Florissant, Mo.; five sisters, Janice Cloninger of Zalma, Mo., Louise Boyd of Cape Girardeau, Rachel Winchester and Cathy Henson of Marble Hill, Wilma Johns of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
