Don Fuemmeler

Donald William Fuemmeler, 57, of Pacific, Mo., passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2010, at Pacific Care Center. He was born July 15, 1952, to the late Henry and JoHanna Fuemmeler of Scott City. Survivors include two sons, Jacob and Justin Fuemmeler of Pacific; a daughter, Jamie Fuemmeler of Maryland Heights, Mo.; three brothers, Jerry Blank of Dallas, Texas, Steve (Emily) Fuemmeler and David (Cheri) Fuemmeler of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Carolyn (Jerry) Deken and Linda (Bill) Hirtz of Poplar Bluff, Mo.. ...

Don retired from the retail grocery business two years ago due to ill health.

There is no public visitation.

A family service will be held Jan. 15 at St. Bridget's Church in Pacific. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Scott City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
