JONESBORO, Ill. -- Dora Hancock, 90, of Jonesboro died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, at Union County Hospital. She was born March 6, 1914, at Wolf Lake, Ill., daughter of Roscoe and Katheryn Fox Smith. She and Gus George Hancock were married in 1938 in Jonesboro...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Dora Hancock, 90, of Jonesboro died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, at Union County Hospital.

She was born March 6, 1914, at Wolf Lake, Ill., daughter of Roscoe and Katheryn Fox Smith. She and Gus George Hancock were married in 1938 in Jonesboro.

Survivors include two sons, William Hancock of Lewiston, Idaho, Ronny Hancock of Ware, Ill.; two sisters, Clora Robertson of Anna, Ill., Dorothy Baltzell of Carbondale, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and two brothers.

Friends may call at Hileman Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
