Doris N. Morehead, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, March 15, 1997, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.

She was born Nov. 4, 1912, in Milton, Ky., daughter of Henry T. and Ruby Huffman Martin. She and Dr. J.R. Robinson were married July 1, 1933. He died in February 1967. She later married Robert W. Morehead Jan. 31, 1970. He died Jan. 15, 1988.

Morehead was a public health nurse in Louisville, Ky.; Honolulu; and Jefferson City. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary, and National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Robinson, James Robinson of Green Acres, Fla.; a daughter, Jane Bolin of Red Bluff, Calif.; a brother, Henry Martin of Loveland, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

There is no visitation or service.
