PERRYVILLE -- Dorothy F. Hackney, 67, of Fenton, died Wednesday, July 20, 1994, t St. Anthony's Medical Center.
She was born April 2, 1927, in Wellington, Kan., daughter of Earl and Lydia Lea Sneed Boone. She and Mac Benton were married in 1945. She later married Ben R. Hackney in 1966. He died July 26, 1990.
Hackney was a framer at Bilt Best Windows. She was a member of Boone Creek Baptist Church in Licking.
Survivors include a son, Bill Hale of Licking; a daughter, Beverly McKinnon of Fenton; her mother, Lydia Vaughn; four sisters, Pauline Cavaness of Licking, Agnes Cole of Springfield, Elda Avilla of Anchorage, Alaska, Peggy Ashley of Sutherlin, Ore.; four brothers, Kenny Vaughn of Winchester, Ore., Ray Vaughn of Sutherlin, Roy Vaughn of Hutchinson, Kan., Junior Vaughn of Licking; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jonathan Brown officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
