ESSEX -- Dorothy Lucille Robertson, 60, of Essex, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1995, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff. She was born May 26, 1934, in Carlinville, Ill., daughter of Walter and Evelyn Eppinger Seamen. She and Robert Preston were married Sept. 8, 1950, in Carlinville. He died Dec. 10, 1974. She married Melvin Robertson in 1983 at Essex. He died in December 1990...

ESSEX -- Dorothy Lucille Robertson, 60, of Essex, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1995, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

She was born May 26, 1934, in Carlinville, Ill., daughter of Walter and Evelyn Eppinger Seamen. She and Robert Preston were married Sept. 8, 1950, in Carlinville. He died Dec. 10, 1974. She married Melvin Robertson in 1983 at Essex. He died in December 1990.

Robertson moved to Essex in 1961 from Greenview, Ill.

Survivors include five sons, Brian and Rory Preston of Essex, Jon Preston of Fort Riley, Kan., Alex Preston of Tovey, Ill., Mike Preston of Coon Rapids, Minn.; a daughter, Sandy Sharlow of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Roy Seamen of Granite City, Ill.; five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, with the Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating. Burial will be in Triplett Cemetery near Essex.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Friday.
