Dorothy Lee Niswonger, 84, of Jackson died Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Monticello House.
She was born March 12, 1926, in Cape Girardeau County, to Claude and Laura Ward Farrow. She and Lester Lee Niswonger were married in September 1942 in Jackson.
Niswonger was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Jackson.
Survivors include her husband, Lester Lee Niswonger of Jackson; three sons, Lester "Wayne" Niswonger of Kelso, Mo., Gary Ray Niswonger of Chester, Ill., Jamie Lee Niswonger of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Bonnie Sue Davis of Hereford, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dennis Lee Niswonger; three brothers; and a sister.
Visitation will be from noon to service time Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with Tom Kelsey officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be given to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
