FORISTELL, Mo. -- Dorothy C. Scott, 90, of Foristell, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at Cross Roads Regional Hospital in Wentzville, Mo.

She was born April 26, 1911, in Springfield, Mo., daughter of William Edward and Grace Williams Crone.

She and William Bazwell Scott were married Aug. 30, 1945, in St. Louis. He died March 15, 1981.

A member of the Second Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, she belonged to the Eastern Star chapter in Webster Grove and the Wednesday Club in Cape Girardeau, where she lived for several years.

During World War II, she was a cartographer for the United States government.

Survivors include a son, Samuel Edward Bishop of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Joan Evangeline Myers of Greensburg, Ind., Esther Peggy "Scotty" Herndon in Foristell; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Louis V. Scudiero and Sons Funeral Home in Bucklin, Mo.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James E. Webb officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery in Bucklin, Mo.
