SIKESTON, Mo. -- Dorothy Ann Walker, 54, of Sikeston died Sunday, May 8, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born Nov. 26, 1950, in Sikeston, daughter of Leonard and Mattie Jones Jackson. She and Willie B. Walker were married in 1969. Walker was a 1968 graduate of Sikeston High School. She co-founded Rhema Word Breakthrough International Ministries as personal assistant and corresponding secretary. She was a member of West End Missionary Baptist Church...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Dorothy Ann Walker, 54, of Sikeston died Sunday, May 8, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 26, 1950, in Sikeston, daughter of Leonard and Mattie Jones Jackson. She and Willie B. Walker were married in 1969.

Walker was a 1968 graduate of Sikeston High School. She co-founded Rhema Word Breakthrough International Ministries as personal assistant and corresponding secretary. She was a member of West End Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Willie Walker Jr., Vallet and Brian Walker of Sikeston; two daughters, Ylonda Walker of Denver, Colo., Terra Walker of Dayton, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Doretha Lindsey of St. Louis; two sisters, Jo Ann McCauley of Sikeston, Adell Ivy of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a stepsister, Idell Osborne of Chicago; and a stepbrother, the Rev. Charles Jones of St. Louis.

Friends may call from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Saturday at Rhema Word Breakthrough in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Ronald Williams and Dr. Anthony Green will officiate. Burial will be in J.C. Pullen Memorial Cemetery at Bell City, Mo.

Williams Funeral Home in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
