FROHNA, Mo. -- Dorothy Winter, 81, of Frohna died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Dec. 30, 1920, at Altenburg, Mo., daughter of Oscar and Concordia Lohmann Petzoldt. She and Herbert Winter were married May 31, 1942. He died March 6, 1989.

Winter retired as a machine operator at Perry Crating Plant. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and its Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Survivors include two brothers, Harry and Lewis Petzoldt of Altenburg; and a sister, Arline Koenig of Frohna.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Concordia Lutheran Church. The Rev. Wayne Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
