ORAN, Mo. -- Dylan Shane Dannenmueller, of Oran, son of Cornell "Buddy" Dannenmueller of Oran, and Mary Ellen (Ron) Rapp of Troy, Illinois, was born Sept. 28, 1992, in St. Louis and departed this life on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 28 years.
Dylan was very passionate about "sports," particularly baseball. Managing a ball team, the last two years was a dream come true. He loved each kid like his own and enjoyed teaching them the sport. Dylan also had a love for the casinos and recently, day trading stocks.
Dylan was an employee of Pizza Inn for approximately seven years. He was a caring, loving young man and touched many lives. He will be missed beyond measures but never forgotten.
Dylan fought a long hard life and never gave up; always holding his head high and trying to cover the pain.
Besides his parents, Dylan is survived by one brother, Lance (Casey) Dannenmueller of Jackson; a half-brother, Shannon (Bonnie) Dannenmueller of Scott City; a half-sister, Erica (John) Enderle of Kelso, Missouri; two step-brothers, Ryan (Haley) Rapp of Granite City, Illinois and Adam (Bridgett) Rapp of Granite City; a step-sister, Renee (Jordan) Rapp of Maryville, Illinois; two grandmothers, Dorothy O'Dell of Oran, Norma Rapp of Troy, Illinois; one cousin, Tiffany (Nathan) O'Harver of Festus, Missouri; five nephews; four nieces; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Dannenmueller was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cornelius Dannenmueller, Marie Jansen Dannenmueller, Carl "Bud" O'Dell, Lee Rapp; one uncle, William "Bill" Dannenmueller; and one aunt, Lisa Misuraca.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jerry Chaney Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Friend Cemetery in Oran.
