EARL CHITTICK

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Earl Chittick, 93, of Mounds died Saturday, Dec. 30, 1995, at the Illinois Veterans Home in Anna.

He was born Feb. 15, 1902, at Olmsted, Ill., son of Sam and Stella Harmon Chittick.

He was a retired federal employee with the National Cemetery at Mound City, Ill.

Survivors include two nephews, John Goins of Mounds and Phillip Goins of Cobden, Ill.; and two nieces, Betty Crippen and Helen Gross, both of Ocala, Fla.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Thursday at the Jones Funeral Home at Villa Ridge, Ill.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jerry Herring will officiate, with burial in the National Cemetery at Mound City.
