Earl Howard Fulford, 83, of LeRoy, Ill., died Monday, April 5, 2004, at LeRoy Manor. He was born Dec. 2, 1920, in Rockwood, Ill., son of Earl Everett and Grace Ruth Hindman Fulford. He and Mildred Caroline Wohlwend were married June 29, 1952, in Cape Girardeau. She died in April 2001...

Earl Howard Fulford, 83, of LeRoy, Ill., died Monday, April 5, 2004, at LeRoy Manor.

He was born Dec. 2, 1920, in Rockwood, Ill., son of Earl Everett and Grace Ruth Hindman Fulford. He and Mildred Caroline Wohlwend were married June 29, 1952, in Cape Girardeau. She died in April 2001.

Fulford was formerly of Cape Girardeau. He had owned and operated Earl's TV Repair in Fairview Heights, Ill., and was a truck driver with Mayflower 16 years.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.

Survivors include a daughter, RuthAnn Woodrum of LeRoy; a sister, Pauline Wilson of Lumberton, Miss.; two granddaughters; and six great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by a sister and a grandson.

Friends may call at Schroeder-McClure Funeral Chapel in Chester, Ill., from 10 a.m. Thursday until time of service.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with Ryan White and Brad Bloemker officiating. Burial will be in Fulford Cemetery in Rockwood.
