MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Earl Norman Hurst, 88, of Marble Hill passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, at his home.
He was born Oct. 29, 1927, in St. Louis, the son of John Bell and Ethel Mae Cody Hurst. He and Ina Mae Cook were united in marriage July 6, 1945, and she passed away May 14, 2013.
Hurst worked for ALCO Controls as an engineer and was a member of Little Whitewater Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Gwen (Wayne) Klinckhardt and Diana (Gary) Nack of Marble Hill; grandchildren, Grant Nack, Christopher Klinckhardt, Heather Kozicky, Julie Wellman and Megan Smith; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Ina; a daughter, Cindy Reller; his parents; a brother, Billy; and a sister, Rose Mary Williamson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Missouri.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Slatton officiating. Interment will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
