Earl Savers, 85, of Jackson died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 1995, at Deal Nursing Home in Jackson.

He was born Aug. 14, 1909, in Jackson to John and Emma Lowes Savers.

He worked at the International Shoe and Hosiery Mill in Jackson and the former Lenco in Jackson where he retired in 1990. He was also a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a brother, Roy Savers of Checotah, Okla., and a sister, Mildred LeGrand of Cape Girardeau. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Eddie Sherril officiating. Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
