PERRYVILLE -- Edgar L. Blechle, 86, of Perryville died Sunday, Aug. 24, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 14, 1911, at Biehle, son of Joseph and Ida Bahnert Blechle.

Blechle was a livestock and agriculture farmer. He was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle.

Survivors include a brother, Herman Blechle of Biehle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-9:20 a.m. A wake service will be held at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Maurus Church, with the Rev. Alphonse Hoernig officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
