DEXTER, Mo. -- Edith Rose Freebold, 90, of Dexter, formerly of Marble Hill, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at Beverly Health and Rehab in Dexter.

She was born April 30, 1915, in Ypsilanti, Mich., daughter of George E. and Anna Ballard Kenney.

Mrs. Freebold was a homemaker and a member of Sugar Tree General Baptist Church in Bernie, Mo.

Survivors include her next best friend, Carl Robbins of Dexter; two foster sons, Lonnie Robbins of Dexter, David Robbins of Flint, Mich.; a daughter, Kathleen Nave of Grand Blanc, Mich.; four foster grandchildren; and a foster great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jack Kenney.

Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be Friday at noon at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Ogelvie officiating. Burial and graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Essex Cemetery in Essex, Mo.
