GERMANTOWN, Tenn. -- Edward Allen Campbell, 88, of Germantown passed away Monday, Jan. 1, 2018.
Edward was born to Silas Edwin and Acenith Ann (Vangilder) Campbell on March 15, 1929, in Cape Girardeau.
He graduated from Campus High School in 1948. He married Norma Jean Jones Feb. 27, 1954.
Edward was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, 1950-1954, and served honorably in the Korean War.
He was the general manager of Cape Manufacturing Co., until he retired in 1992.
He leaves as his legacy one child, Alan Jeffrey Campbell, married to Michelli Lollar Campbell, and grandson, Silas Wilton, all of Germantown. He also leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Jerry Campbell of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and by his sister, Doris Langston.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday, with visitation at 10:30 a.m., at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Memphis, Tennessee.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Christ the King building fund.
