EDWARD H. HOLMES
PERRYVILLE -- Edward H. Holmes, 80, of Minnith died Saturday, May 30, 1992, at St. Louis. He was born Dec. 14, 1911, at Ste. Genevieve County, the son of David M. and Cora L. Hahn Holmes. On June 20, 1932, he married Beulah V. Anderson, who preceded him in death May 6, 1981...PERRYVILLE -- Edward H. Holmes, 80, of Minnith died Saturday, May 30, 1992, at St. Louis.
He was born Dec. 14, 1911, at Ste. Genevieve County, the son of David M. and Cora L. Hahn Holmes.
On June 20, 1932, he married Beulah V. Anderson, who preceded him in death May 6, 1981.

He was a member of the Glory Hill Workshop Center in Perryville
Survivors include a son, David L. Holmes of Perryville; four daughters, Madeline Holmes of St. Marys, Marie Duren of St. Louis, Ruth Kesel of Riverdale, Ga., and Jeannie Mize of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Mary Pittman and Gladys Lorenz, both of Perryville; 22 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter and a brother.
Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. David L. Holmes will officiate, and burial will be in Cedar Fork Cemetery in Perry County.
