Eleanor Marie McCormick, 73, of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, June 11, 1994, at the Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.

He was born July 5, 1920, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ray and Ida Seabaugh Moore.

She married Edward J. McCormick in 1937 at Cape Girardeau. He died in 1976.

McCormick was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW for 25 years and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles for 15 years.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Edward R. McCormick and Gary W. McCormick, both of Cape Girardeau, Larry L. McCormick of Tuscon, Ariz.; a stepson, Luther McCormick of Ocala, Fla.; a sister, Shirley J. Hartle of Cape Girardeau; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stepson, a stepdaughter, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Randy Short officiating.

Burial will follow in Lorimier Cemetery.
