ADVANCE, Mo. -- Ella Grace Simmers, 95, of Advance died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at Advance Nursing Center. She was born Jan. 12, 1908, in Cape Girardeau County, Mo., daughter of Bill and Nora Kinder Limbaugh. She and Vernie Simmers were married July 7, 1928, at Greenbrier, Mo. He died March 23, 1969...

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Ella Grace Simmers, 95, of Advance died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born Jan. 12, 1908, in Cape Girardeau County, Mo., daughter of Bill and Nora Kinder Limbaugh. She and Vernie Simmers were married July 7, 1928, at Greenbrier, Mo. He died March 23, 1969.

Survivors include two daughters, LaVern Schrader Harty of Advance, and Geraldine Evans of Bloomfield, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Keith Price will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
