Ella Sitze

GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Ella Pauline "Polly" Sitze, 72, of Glenallen passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born in Glenallen on Oct. 11, 1940, daughter of Paul F. and Laura C. Huskey Deck. On Nov. 5, 1960, she married Jerry Wayne Sitze at Glenallen Baptist Church. He preceded her in death July 23, 2012.

Ella graduated from Lutesville High School and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She was a school bus driver 20 years for the Woodland School District. She was a member of First Baptist Church at Marble Hill, Mo.

She is survived by her children, Mike and Tim Sitze of Glenallen, Paul Sitze of Clarksville, Tenn., Paula Snider of Marble Hill and Marla Sproat of Farmington, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A brother, Robbie Deck, and a sister, Mary Ann Rogers, also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Marble Hill. The Rev. Tim Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Old Trace Creek Cemetery.
